Woodland Acres Ranch is a fourth generation family-owned working
ranch located on the beautiful White River in North Central Arkansas.
We use our foundation ranch quarter horses to run a commercial cattle
operation consisting mostly of Horned Hereford cows crossed with
Angus and Charolais bulls. Every cow on our place was born and raised
here.
Our foundation quarter horses are primarily Hancock bred and
are used to help us get our jobs done. They are range bred, born
and raised. They grow up learning to deal with water crossings,
fences, stockguards, and other normal ranch surroundings. When old
enough, they are started on cattle and used for working fence lines,
gathering, sorting, branding and doctoring. We do stand our studs
to the public on a limited basis and we offer foundation quarter
horse colts for sale at private treaty and through the Ozark Foundation
Breeders Association sale held every fall in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Our Border Collie dogs are bred for working instinct and calm
dispositions. We do not offer trained dogs, but we do have puppies
for sale at various times throughout the year. Call or check this
site for information.
Thanks for passin' through! Enjoy your visit!
Then stop by our place anytime; the coffee pot is always on!
